Four new styles have been added to the LAUGH verb: BLUSH, FLIRTY, FORCED, and POLITE.
Previously the laugh styles were only applicable if you were laughing with no target. You may now use laugh styles when targeting players, creatures, and objects!

Oh, also. Previously, the syntax for the laugh styles required them to be typed out completely. You may now abbreviate laugh styles.
If there is a player in the room that matches what you typed, they will be targeted first. If there is an object or creature that matches what you typed, you will use the laugh style.
So if you are in the room with Druena and LAUGH DRU, you will laugh at Druena, and not laugh drunkenly.
However, if you are in a room with a donkey and LAUGH DONKEY, you will bust out in the donkey-style laugh. You can use one of the laugh styles when targeting the donkey, if you really need to show your amusement.

I presently have a grunting script with lich that auto-completes the grunts that wouldn't abbreviate well. I never put it on the repo 1) Because my friend wrote it 2) It requires some permission settings since it uses certain external ruby libraries to do its task. I imagine other players of dwarves would appreciate a similar update with grunt to the laugh abbreviated styles, though!

Hmm, neat! I made my dwarf in the last months, and my friend had emailed me the script a couple years ago, mostly for discussing the power of ruby. I hadn't done a lot of testing and was just defaulting to the script (and only recently started reading information/releases relevant to the race).
