As Isco walked to the manor to enjoy some fun and talk with the Mentor at the manor.
He come across three Mentors standing there with nothing to do this evening. Isco start to ask them a few questions of events if there goingto be any in Ta'Vaalor. They reply it slow with the ebon gate and seasons greetings and all. Unpleased with his answer he asked if there was any feed back from another Mentor that showed up on his reguest. Sorry I had no time to ask yet. Unpleased once more he asked for a senor mentor to talk with among soem other questions but was pointed to this form to speak. But they did tell Isco that Zult had the longest time as a mentor but could not share of a time they could meet.
Even went to give Isco a sad story of there reason for a few questions.
After many time coming to the manor to talk with the mentors it seem like they have pleanty of time to put in some events for Ta'Vaalor and could maybe give soem better answers to ones that need a hand. Even one of them said why not apply to be a mentor then you can host events. Why would I join them if they only stand around. When they could be doing some fun things.
Isco lean back to yell " Hey, Why stand around when you could be the host of a wild party!" Isco walks away.

Pointing you here for questions regarding Ta'Vaalor Events is completely the right thing to do. You have Player-Run Organizations who are reading as well as staff who deal with TV.
I'm sure you didn't mean to be judgemental of the Mentors who every time I have ever tugged the rope have come to answer my questions as best they good. Those poor mentors probably got questions I should have been ASSISTing with and handled me with humor, professionsalism and expertise.
Perhaps they were discussing an event before you arrived, or just were present to be a welcoming force to those who came up to chat! Either in my book is acceptable.
I'm sorry you didn't get the answer you were hoping for from them at the time, but, as one of your local CHE officers, what events are you looking to see?
Zenaxa,

PS - Thank you Mentors, You do a wonderful and often unrecognized job. Your patience and dedication are an inspiration.
A black-billed nightingale examines you carefully then says, "With all the vicious creatures we've got threatening the city, I would think that a person with your skills could find plenty to do."

Oh, boy. I have some time before work, let's see here. Let me preface this with saying I'm not a mentor anymore - left of my own volition just before Paersi took over the reins. That being said, I was one long enough that I should be able to give fair answers to this.
>He come across three Mentors standing there with nothing to do this evening.
Just because you come across a pair or trio of mentors standing in the courtyard does not mean they 'have nothing to do'. Chances are if there's that many, there's a new Mentor as part of the group being trained. You know, new mentors, so there'll be more people to run events and better cover all the towns. Since a lot of that discussion can be potentially OOC, it's not unreasonable to think it'd be done in whispers while waiting for people with questions to come by as they're announcing that they're available for questions.
>They reply it slow with the ebon gate and seasons greetings and all.
I'm not sure why this answer made you unhappy. Mentors are players just like you and me, and they give up their own playing time to drop what they're doing and help people. Are you upset that they weren't willing to take time away from an event they'd paid for to run Mentor events during EG, when attendance would be lower than usual due to a pay event going on? Mentors are volunteers.
>Unpleased with his answer he asked if there was any feed back from another Mentor that showed up on his reguest. Sorry I had no time to ask yet.
I'm not sure what you're saying here, exactly. Did you have a prior question that you had asked another Mentor? Why not just re-ask it to those present and see if they could have helped you? Just because a Mentor in front of you isn't of your particular profession doesn't mean they don't have knowledge of others. My Mentor character was a cleric, but I've got good knowledge of empaths and warriors as well, and fair knowledge of all the rest.
>Unpleased once more he asked for a senor mentor to talk with among soem other questions but was pointed to this form to speak.
Just because you ask for a 'senior Mentor' to talk to (which is rude in itself, since there were three perfectly capable ones standing in front of you all equally able to help) doesn't mean that a) anyone higher ranking is online or b) anyone higher ranking is able to drop what they're doing and come to the courtyard. If you have that much of a problem with a particular Mentor that you feel the need to try and 'escalate to a supervisor', then email the Mentor GM about it with their name and details of what happened in a clear, concise manner.
>But they did tell Isco that Zult had the longest time as a mentor but could not share of a time they could meet.
Yes, Zult has been a mentor forever. That doesn't mean someone's going to presume to try and control his playtime by setting up a 'meeting' for him when he isn't around. Again, Mentors are volunteers whose playing times are as random as yours or mine. They do not have set schedules when they have to be available and onduty like a GameHost or GameMaster does.
>After many time coming to the manor to talk with the mentors it seem like they have pleanty of time to put in some events for Ta'Vaalor and could maybe give soem better answers to ones that need a hand.
You have no basis for this assumption for the reasons I've elaborated on above. Maybe if we knew what questions you had asked, it would be clearer why their answers displeased you.
>Even one of them said why not apply to be a mentor then you can host events. Why would I join them if they only stand around. When they could be doing some fun things.
I'm not sure if you're aware of just how much planning goes into event running. A lot of that planning is spent discussing events with the others involved, writing up proposals and ideas, brainstorming prizes and games. Before 'fun things' can happen, all that tedious planning has to, and that tedious planning has to be fit in around RL holidays and IG festivals like EG in the fall/winter, as well as final exam schedules and things like that. It ALSO has to be fit in around Mentorish things like being available to help anyone who might wander by with questions, training new Mentors in how to do their jobs, and things like sorting through that massive pile of detritus people donate in the courtyard bins. Just because someone's standing there being quiet when you arrive but still responding to you when you ask a question, don't assume they're 'doing nothing'.

You quietly whisper to Tolomyn, "I would like 'an unpretentious albugineous rumchunder dress whorled with chrysochlorous penniform arabesques', please."
