Isco walks by waving to Zenaxa and Tolomyu.
Hey, I am glad I got some feed back of what I wrote earler.
And yes I did not enjoy my visit to the manor. I wrote some things it seem to bring a fire under a few people feet.
Isco Lean back saying " I need more of you to voice what your feeling!"
Isco gaze around, saying "I not always saying the wright things but I still enjoy saying what on my mind!"
Isco and if I need to speak out for more things to happen in Ta'Vaalor then so be it.
I felt ganged up on by three mentors standing there. I wanted to speak with one I had already been talking with but it might of seem rude. You know how it goes if everyone know something but no one is around to share it with the others then the whole picture is not being seen or shared. I still do enjoy visiting the manor and hope my next visit there will be better.
If it does nothing more then just talk between two people that is just fine with me. I would really like to see more events and it not hard.
Isco points outward, Yelling
"Yes ones are here for fun. Yes they pay to be here. Yes it not fair for me to ask for more from them. Yes you maye think I am crazy for asking for more events and story for Ta'Vaalor. Yes there a new Guru. Yes I like the one guru they placed in Ta'Vaalor. Yes to the need for more."
Isco shake his head saying I pay too and done a few events of my own it not hard and it made fun for a few people. It boring standing here watching ones ask for something but can not do much to help them but I tried.
Isco replys "If you disagree with me then it your right as it is mine to speak my voice."
Isco say "If there were more mho events in Ta'Vaalor I would come to for the fun."
Isco says to everyone that gathered " Come by thedocks some time and fish with me maybe we caught a shark." as he walks to the docks waves.

I'm pretty sure you didn't actually read my response to you, though it's honestly hard to tell from the quasi-RP style of your post what you're trying to convey. I got a general vibe of 'I don't care, I just want more events right this second and want a personal mentor on-call so I don't have to talk to other ones,' so here's where I bow out. What I posted this morning wasn't opinion, it was a basic explanation of how the Mentors work.

Heya Isco.
More elaborate events require more planning. Fishing and perhaps a group hunt are, as you say, not that hard. Agreed! But they do still require your time, and the time of your co-runner if there is one.
The events that the Mentors sponsor are, from what I've seen, much more intricate. Criers, news submissions and announcements all take coordination and planning and it involves more than one pair of hands to get done. I know it seems like it should be simple, but please don't minimalize the work the Mentors, MHO and CHE officers, and GMs do when having wonderfully fun events that go beyond a "simple" game with prizes that go beyond coin or player donated items.
I certainly don't wish to add myself to the pile of those who might be ganging-up on you, I'm just attempting to offer you a perspective perhaps you are having trouble seeing. I help run CHE events in the Elven Nations. I want to run events that folks want to go to, and and so very open to your suggestions. I am willing to guess that Sabreon feels the same, and while the Dreadnaughts will run different types of Events than we in the Abbey would, as two totally different RP backgrounds, we both would want to provide Events that players want to participate in.
This need not be something the Mentors have to do, it's okay to ask your local MHO and CHE as well!
If it seems like I'm trying to draw this away from the remarks made concerning the mentors, it's because I am. They do a wonderful job and you are usually very happy with them, you indicated.
What types of events, aside from GM only situations, ie invasions, would you like to see? Roshambo contests? Dice games? Group hunts? Mass spells offered? Scavenger hunts? Song/Story contests? Some of these Events are easier to do than others, but if there's a desire, they'll happen!

And I hate to add to my own post (forgive the typos please) but I should add the ganging up is perceived, and for that I'm sorry you felt that way.
You do speak a little differently than many of us, and perhaps your writing style doesn't lend itself well to those who don't know you better. I hope others can also see this, and realize that perhaps things aren't coming out in text as they are truly intended.
From what I gathered, Isco wants some Events! I'm here to listen to what type Isco wants. They won't necessarily happen overnight, just so there isn't some expectation level there that can't be reached. But I am listening!

Hi! I'm part of the mentor machine and I'll say a few things before I go on my merry way.
Firstly - Siwas did nail it perfectly.
Secondly - We haven't had any events in the past few weeks because we generally like our volunteers to enjoy the holiday. People are busy and the last thing we want is to put some added stress of planning and executing an event.
Lastly - Keep an eye out after the New Year, we've been in the process of planning some awesome race and profession events that should appeal to everyone!
Super Lastly - We love go-getters. If you're interested in making things fun for the newbies that pop up, please apply.
Thanks so much for all the feedback and support!
The Mentors of Silverwood Manor love you guys!

I talked to him about it last night. Not sure if he's had a chance to read after replying to me last night. Isco wants more of the general events as well that anyone could run. Like the fishing games and such. I told him the Abbey was planning on helping out and he got all excited. I think he's just tired of hearing about things happening everywhere else, but not seeing Vaalor on the calendar. But I could be wrong.
