This evening The Drakes Vanguard kicks off its Spring Muster! Look for our tent outside and south of the West Gate in Wehnimer's Landing! Come One, Come All! For exciting games, informative reviews, prizes and much more!
Friday, May 18th
8:00 Call to Muster: Pre-muster inductions and promotions in the Drakes
Vanguard ranks at the Landing Tent.
8:30 Citizens Brawling Challenge: Participants will compete at the Ice House
Tavern in Ice Mule in a double elimination brawl with each city finding its
champion. Champions will compete in a knock-down, toe-to-toe, slugfest to
determine bragging rights. Teams will then compete by city affinity or
citizenship in a last-one-standing free-for-all.
10:00 Late Night Favor Saver: An all-undead hunt will gather at the Landing Tent
once the fog clears from those left in a heap on the Ice House Tavern?s floor.
Treasure will be shared among participants.
Saturday, May 19th
6:30 Call to Muster in Landing
7:30 Archery Contest at Willow Hall. Who is the best archer in the West? Come
stake your claim in this competition on Willow Hall?s professional range.
How many arrows can you split to win first prize?
*Location: Wehnimer?s Landing, just outside Willow Hall. To get to
Willow Hall, from the North Gate of Wehnimer?s Landing go southwest,
south to the fork in the road, take the southeast fork and go east till you get to
the bridge, climb the trail and follow the path to Willow Hall.
9:00 Twisted Dragging Race. An old favorite with a fun twist! Bring your
muscles!
10:00 Drinking Contest: Can you hold your liquor and still dance across an slippery
ledge spanning a precipice? Maybe you?ll find out once the drinking
commences at the ?Tentacled Tavern? in Solhaven
Sunday, May 20th
5:30 Skilled with a skinning knife? This is your chance to prove you?re the best.
Willow Hall and the Drakes Vanguard are holding a skinning contest. There
will separate divisions for younger and older adventurers. The rules will be
explained at the beginning of the contest. Prizes will be presented to the top
three skinners in each division. (at Willow Hall)
7:00 Dress the Traveler. This is a team hunting challenge and will gather at the
Landing Tent. The objective? A quest to make a traveler look good on his or
her next amble through the countryside.
8:15 Call to Spring Muster issued
8:30 Spring Muster: The Drakes Vanguard will gather at the Landing Tent, then
patrol by Infantry before engaging in an ambitious field exercise of the full
militia.
10:00 Assembly and Dismissal at the Landing Tent.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and participated in The Drakes Vanguard Spring Muster, it was a great success! Be on the look out in oh, August I would say for our Summer Muster!

Sorry that I wasn't at more events this weekend, guys. I had to work Saturday night and last night we celebrated my mother's and my aunt's birthdays. I'm glad to hear that you all made a strong showing and next muster will have to be better for me.
