ReplyWent to get promoted to rank 11 of General Alchemy and the NPC Guild Master said I had to advance in one of the other topics first. I trained a rank of Trinkets and am now in the situation where the Training Administrator tells me I have to get promoted in General Alchemy first before I can train more in it,but the NPC Guild Master says I have to train some in Trinkets to get a promotion and has no way of informing her I want the General Alchemy advancement to Rank 11 instead. What is the method of getting the advancement to rank 11?

The people who designed the alchemy system are a warped bunch. A little is entertaining, most of it's boring with a few irritations tossed in. May their next beers be stale. :)
I'm damned glad I only need like twenty ranks of general. <starts gibbering at the mere thought of doing a 21st rank... > :)

Apparently I'll have to keep up requesting a Player empath guild master on the amunet and see if the system lets that solve the problem. <sticks another pin in the effigy of a game designer> ;)

Shouldn't have tried being to specific I guess. Never have been good at guessing verbs and other words in games. Would have been nice to have been given a 'try something else' flavor response instead of the 'not on duty' response though.
