With all the recent changes from the Hot Summer Nights, the Elemental Lore Review, the new QUICKSTRIKE, and other Wizard spell (506, 515, 519, 535) updates, all characters will receive a free FIXSKILLS on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016. This new FIXSKILL will follow the normal policy of not stacking with existing, unused FIXSKILLS and must be used before the next Festival of Oleani (May 20th).

Do you know if the changes to 925/Enchant will be released before the fixskills goes out on Tuesday or is it safe to forget about 925 for the time being and worry about those changes till after May? |
Unfortunately, the changes to Enchant Item (925) are not yet ready and will not be going out before the FIXSKILL on Tuesday. However, none of the previously listed changes for it have changed, so you can still plan your training accordingly.

I never mentioned CMANs in my request. This change affects stamina cost/usages across the board for all professions, not to mention the myriad effects it has on wizard choices for lore and/or other related combat skills. I do not think it is unreasonable to allow players time to adjust to these changes by granting a quick migration of ALL skills, not just CMANs.

Then my mistake, I thought you meant CMANs bc that is what I associate with asking for fast migration (per the clip I quoted). Everyone gets a fixskills. Maybe don't use it on day 1 and let people organize data and crunch numbers. Anyway, I had the same reaction when you asked for Haste in the Arcane Circle.

Why? Say it filled the 1725 slot. It wouldn't be able to be infused, but could still be found on the very rare scroll and magical item. How is that unbalanced? These changes are clearly targeted at stopping permahasting. Allowing the old-style haste to be found via rare instances in the treasure system would in no way impact that change.

On a purely personal level, none of the HSN changes have required me to change my build or refocus on any aspect of training. so I'm chugging along on my designated set of tracks quite nicely. Will use this fixskills for some unexpected testing of another method of attack though. Ummm ranged or TWC?
