Several self-knowledge were auctioned off at EG. Has imbedding been disabled/changed for Arcane spells? I have the Death Cloud crook and have been unable to imbed the spell. I am trying to determine if this is because of different rules for the Arcane Circle, or a possible bug in the item itself.

Knowledge of Web runestaff works fine. I know it's not Arcane, but it is one data point from the auction itself.

You should not have any trouble imbedding Arcane spells into items. And there doesn't appear to be any issue with the Death Cloud runestaff (I have a copy of it, since I created it). If you still think there is a problem, post a log and we can review it.

on a slightly related, if you use 1750 to gain knowledge of a spell for 10 minutes, can you imbed it using 420?

But you have to admit that would be pretty cool if you could.
