Barring the fact that this spells is only for capped x2 users or for those with over 150 ranks in MIU I sitll like the spell as implemented right now.

Genius way of rewarding MIU training...which i thought was always useless, and not allowing the spell to be perfect....ie every spell ever implemented. There is always a caveat or flaw.

I think you can safely expect this not to be very useful offensively. At best, you're going to be able to use someone else's offensive spell for a short period of time. I don't think this was ever intended to be more than a toy from an offensive standpoint, I expect to see it get far more use on other, more utilitarian or defensive spells.

So, figuratively speaking, had I the ability to activate the gift, I could go hunting on my own mana (with a little Kaedra bread) with 904, for ten minutes, and not have to use a scroll or a wand? That... Kerl.. would be the epitome of awesomeness for my square-mage. He's trembling with excitement already. It'll be a long while before he gets to ever use this spell, but it's always nice to have something HUGE to look forward to.
Out of curiousity, while you have this spell active, can you invoke a different spell (not prep) and still have the gift active. For example, if I'm out hunting with my 904 Gift, and decided I need tremors or tangleweed, can I invoke and cast it without losing my offensive spell? Just curious.

The moment you perform or are targeted by any kind of hostile action, the effects of manna bread vanish =\

This feature has been requested, but that is not how it works right now. You only get one spell.

Bolt AS is universal. Wizards might not have much use for it, but empaths and clerics would surely like say, 907. Suppose they're in the scatter, and it flips cold, they use 111, but then it flips hot, so instead they use 907.

Just one example, there are tons of areas with critters vulnerable to certain elements.

I believe Liches are immune to spells beneath the 9th level. Don't quote me on that, though.

I think they wanted to know if they could have two Gifts going at once.

Has anyone tried?

How did they determine who got the original scrolls, anyway? What was the release event?

Some pures had visions of stuff, led them to the library in Ta'Illistim, a scroll was found there amidst the books (Missoni got it in Prime, dunno who found it in Plat).

Hmmmm. So this means I'd have to train in Harness Power as needed. And have magics of other kinds imbedded. Or just tackle them. Mmmm.

Teffor - still very excited about being able to really cast magic (even if he has to wait til he's capped.)

p.s. Looks like I'm not hunting Lichs with this spell.

You cap on your current program true to the RP you have set, and I will go out of my way to help you max your ability to cast spells via 1750.

Hell, I'll even help! You've chosen a path that few would contemplate, let alone attempt. Bravo, bravo.

Definitely find 1700s on scrolls, and the 1750 release event has happened in both plat and prime, so I see no reason that 1750 scrolls aren't potentially out there. Dunno how many have been found, but it's not like 19th level spell scrolls are common ;)
