Discuss August 2004, Katana Month, here.
I'm sorry I for one don't get all googly eyed over Katana's. I see all these merchant events this month keyed toward katana owner's. Or wanna be katana owner's.
I commend the staff for running so many merchant event's this month for standand, I may show up at a few just for fun(don't own a katana or weaponary of that style), but to limit some to Katana owners I think its a little unfair.
P.s. On a side note I love alot of the changes that have happened with this game in my absence, I love all the new things, espically the amount of nicer then normal weapons that have been found. I have a few friends that found a few really nice ones over last couple weeks, still hoping to get lucky.

It's a katana theme. Maybe next theme month it'll be something you're more interested in. ;)

Dare I say, you kick major arse Loth. Between your hint and the conformation of the others, I found it pretty quick and I am quite quite pleased with the selection. I already have vultite ones, which I will use as my blessables. The selection of flaring ones is quite perfect for my character. One each of the four elemental metals, with matching discriptions that differ only in the metal and the color of said metal. Now I just need to set up the script and macros to adquitly control the rotation of the flaring tantos thru my hands for maximum coolness.

Hrmmm,I can't use them (no ohe) but ok, I can see that many folk enjoy katana's and I do like how they have been detailed as a weapon type.
Now, a related idea...we're expecting giantkin documents to be expanded. Wouldn't that be a good time to have...claidhmore month? It is the official weapon of the Highmen.

This is actually really easy, BTW. Assuming you keep them all in the same container, just have your stowing macro be "put my tanto in my {container}" and your taking macro be "take my fourth tanto from my {container}". Each time you put one away, it'll get put on top, and you'll grab the bottom one when you get one out next :)

Auctaly, as I use them in pairs, I put away the second one, and when I get one out I get the third, and then swap so the second one is always in the off hand.

I'm curious..do we know yet if the katana quest makes the katana attune to the person who gets it? Someone asked me today and I had no clue if that had been sorted out or not. Thanks!
