Is there a reason why I can shout out of the immobilization effect of a bandit net, but not the metal jaw trap?

Is there a reason why I can shout out of the immobilization effect of a bandit net, but not the metal jaw trap?

The metal jaw roots you while the net immobilizes. Troubadour's Rally (1040) only removes the latter. It probably should also remove the former too, but is not a bug that it doesn't.
