SMRv2 and gem purification...unlikely impact on 12/28/2016 09:36 PM CST

Can staff please clarify if there have been any changes to 1004 success/failure of gem purification with SMRv2? Seems unlikely but since it was released I've been blowing up gems left and right in a way I've never before.

The Standard Maneuver Roll 1 or 2 has absolutely nothing to do with purifying gems.

I purified a stack of emeralds and diamonds last night.

Blew up 2.

Stack was ... a good 20 to 2 dozen gems.

I did have a rash of spell failures that defied any definition you could come up with for 7% spell failures last night while hunting...
