I'd really encourage players to participate in these contests. If I can be in the top 10 anyone can! Seriously.
It's worth a shot! You could possibly add to the game in some way and the prizes are pretty nice.
Here is my submission for the September contest. I'd love to see the other submissions if anyone who submitted cared to share.
Weapon: crossbow
Verb: point
1st Person: You cautiously lower your crossbow pointing it towards the ground.
3rd Person: Character cautiously lowers his/her crossbow pointing it towards the ground.
Verb: turn crossbow
1st Person: You prop your crossbow on your shoulder for a moments rest.
3rd Person: Character props his/her crossbow on his/her shoulder for a moments rest.

Weapon Class Dagger
Verb: Turn
1st: Casually you toss your dagger into the air catching it by the tip and hefting it to gauge the weight for throwing. Flipping it again you return it to your normal grip.
3rd: Telyav casually tosses his dagger into the air, catching it by the blade as if preparing to throw before flipping it again to grip it by the hilt once more.
Verb: Spin
1st: Spinning your dagger in your hand, you reverse the grip and prepare for an attack.
3rd: Telyav spins his dagger in the palm of his hand and readies himself for an attack.
