Anther 1650 idea.

1650: Wrath of the Arkati.

Activation: Beseech (I don't THINK there's a beseech for us otherwise via other spells nor society abilities)

When the paladin dies, the paladin has a chance to beseech to their deity for a chance to redeem themselves by conquering the foe that dared slayed them!

It works like this:

Paladin dies

Paladin uses BESEECH

Paladin now just did a SELF Raise of themselves - the same exact spell of 1640 but to themselves. However.. with Lore training this can be improved
Spirit Lore increases the duration of the spell
Religion Lore adds more Attack for the duration of this spell
Blessing Lore adds Defense for the duration of this spell

After 10 minutes, the recovery begins as normal. So basically.. the paladin self raises with a temp boost to avenge himself and escape back to safety.

Thoughts?

Hmm.. should tweak this one more

Paladin dies

Paladin uses BESEECH

Paladin now just did a SELF Raise of themselves - similar to 1640. The paladins retains all the spells As a base, +10 to Defense / Attack / TD .. However.. with Lore training this can be improved
Spirit Lore increases the duration of the spell
Religion Lore adds more Attack for the duration of this spell
Blessing Lore adds Defense for the duration of this spell

After 10 minutes, the temp boosts are gone, but the paladin doesn't lose any spirit points, mana, nor the spells. Or.. this could be increased chance to do all of this with the Lore Training.

Also.. this should be usable while we are Living too. And thus the paladin should be able to Beseech to activate this so it can be used while they are alive and not dead.

To counter the DI spell which uses Beseech, I propose to the following: The paladin gets out of the bind / web etc they are in on top of benefits associated. However; DI mana will be charged first and then 50 mana for the 1650 so the paladin will need 85 mana IF they are webbed, binded, stunned, etc.

This can be done 1X a day and improved with Spirit Lore Training. So.. choose wisely when to use this.

This.. I believe is a worthy 1650 spell and I don't think it would upset balance. It's similar to the cleric's 50th slot and has the extra flavor in to make up for no chrism effect self raise that the cleric has with Lore and thus more Paladin like.

Beseech is used by two other spells (1625 and 1635). So that verb is a bit played out.

More importantly though, this is probably too similar to 350- Miracle to go over well. (Though Miracle is an awesome spell, to be sure)

Well.. to be fair, it's closer to 1640 but our own version

The 350 spell gives cleric's a chance for a chrism raise on top of the self raise with no spirit, health loss if I recall right but that's through Lore training although they retain their injuries.
The Miracle spell also provides a Minor sanct btw. So this is still a different flavor and more of a boost of 1640 in my opinion since it's based off that first and not the cleric's so much. Ideally this would be more used while alive than dead but if dead then it would us the ability to do our "battle raise" with the temp buff I proposed. However; I could still agree to the paladin losing spirit etc if they raise themselves so they have long enough to finish up the foe that had slain them and flee back to safety where they get reduced to 1 spirit and 0 mana.

Thus I thought this would be a plus to go ahead with the extra 10 spells to temp buff up the paladin while they are alive and give them the chance to raise.

As mentioned too earlier.. DI (1635) would have to already be used first before they could use 1650.

As far 1625 (Sanctify) is concerned.. it's a targeted Beseech so you target your weapon.. not just it by itself. prep 1615, infuse weapon, beseech weapon

Thus why I don't see an issue at hand for the living part since it would do DI first and then if Beseech is done again (when not needed for DI) to activate 1650
