It seems you have died, my friend. Although you cannot do anything, you are keenly aware of what is going on around you...

Dgry gestures at you.
Shadows shift and roll around Dgry as his lips part in a soft chant that is no louder than a gentle purr. Taking on definition and contrast, the shadows around Dgry morph into the semblance of a large feline stretching languidly, and his eyes take on a yellow cast as he gazes at you. A deeper, louder purr accompanies Dgry's as he touches your forehead, and the feeling of raw power that bursts over you blinds you. When your vision clears, the shadows are gone and Dgry's eyes have returned to normal.

You feel a surge in the flows of mana about you, and your mind hums with power as your wards and enhancements return to you.

A light blue glow surrounds you.
The air thickens and begins to swirl around you.
You suddenly feel more powerful.
There is a dim flash around you.
You feel a strengthening of your internal fortitude.
There is a dim flash around you.
You feel a strengthening of your blood flow.
A deep blue glow surrounds you.
A dull golden nimbus surrounds you.
You suddenly feel a lot more powerful.
You are surrounded by a white light.
A silvery luminescence surrounds you.
A bright luminescence surrounds you.
A brilliant luminescence surrounds you.
You are filled with a sense of great confidence.
Your skin tingles for a moment and you feel more secure.
A shadowy patch of ether rises up through the floor to encompass you, swiftly sinking into your skin.
Roundtime: 5 sec.

You recover enough strength to move again.

You stand back up.

(...about 4 seconds pass...)

Dgry flashes with a bright ethereal light!
An ethereal light washes over you as you sense mana collecting around and in you!
Roundtime: 3 sec.
You feel the magic unknown to you being pulled forcefully away...

Like the siphoning of water from a well, the divine touch on your soul fades, leaving you weakened and bereft of your wards and enhancements.

You feel drained!
Like a faint wisp of a barely-remembered dream, your brief, enhanced comprehension of arcane mysteries slips away.
A faint silvery glow fades from around you.
A dark shadow seems to detach itself from your body, swiftly dissipating into the air.
The tingling sensation and sense of security leaves you.
You feel less confident than before.
The brilliant luminescence fades from around you.
The bright luminescence fades from around you.
The silvery luminescence fades from around you.
The very powerful look leaves you.
The white light leaves you.
The dull golden nimbus fades from around you.
The deep blue glow leaves you.
You notice your blood flow go back to normal.
You lose your extra internal fortitude.
The powerful look leaves you.
The air calms down around you.
The light blue glow leaves you.

You say, "Uh oh."

No, that's a bug as far as I can see, since I preemptively asked that question:

DAID
I noticed Divine Word shows up in Spell Active. I presume it cannot be hit by Spiritual Dispel, etc. Wow that would really blow!
ESTILD
No, it cannot be dispelled via any of the dispel spells (119, 230, 417, 430, or 1218) or from the Rift, and it doesn't count against spell burst.

"Uh oh" is a little tamer than my line...

Just heard from one of my Divine Word regulars that all experience is dropped from the mind after 1640 falls. Should be a bug, too!

Here's the part of the discussion I read to imply all experience gained after raised but before 1640 fails should stay in the mind:

Morden, player of
With the adjustments to 1640 and providing experience, were there any considerations decisions made on either a) use of chrisms, or b) providing experience of a battle-raise to the target instead of the Paladin? Perhaps the overflow experience of a battle raise to a target who hopefully learned something from the experience of battling, dying, then abruptly living to battle again?
ESTILD
No, Paladins will not be able to use chrism. The battle resurrection will not allow the corpse to retain their field experience, but it does immediately put them back into the position to quickly reearn it, then to pay the cost of their death afterward, if they can finish their new hunt within 10 minutes.

It wasn't stated verbatim, but I definitely can't see the point of finishing a new hunt in 10 minutes if my mind ends up belled when I get back to town...

The same thing happens if a cleric uses a chrism before the Paladin raises. The target raises with the experience it had at death, then drops all of it when payment is made.
