I posted this back when monks were released and i'm re-reposting as no 'name-in-red' responded;

Since the release of the minor mental circle, I have been unlocking/charging minor mental spells.

Are these on par with any other spell circle in terms of difficulty to unlock/charge relative to minor mental mana share?

If minor mental mana share has an impact on our ability, ought it still cost more than the other two types of share as hybrids?

Does not training in minor mental share have a negative impact using our sorcerer spell scroll infusion in that we will have a higher rate of locking/breaking scrolls on a) unlocking and b) charging?

Please chime in!

I believe (because I remember being told by a GM), in a mechanic I think is poorly designed that I do not agree with. Mental Mana Control has nothing to do with it. Mana Control does factor into the formula, but it isn't based on sphere, only your aggregate mana control training in used. Sorcerers are always considered elemental/spiritual hybrids, and get a bonus to do spells from those spheres. You lack this bonus for Arcane and Mental spells. Making those circles the hardest to recharge, no matter what.

I think emc should factor when doing elemental spells, smc when doing spiritual, and mmc when doing mental. I prefer skill based game systems that offer flexibility than assumptive generalizations based on professional labels.
