I'm sure this has been suggested many times before, but why not just set 725 up so that at a certain level (say...50) major demons become possible? I feel like using 750 for this is going to create a bit of an imbalance between the paths. Plus, you could just leverage the existing 725 infrastructure. So it wouldn't be as much work, and maybe we could get it out before the game ends ;)
