I'm still a big fan of Virilneus' idea to make greater summoning unlockable via 725 with lore. And some people were talking about 750 last night so this idea popped into my head. Kind of already been suggested a little bit from previous posts.
With this spell a sorcerer would channel their energy into transforming their bodies into either that of a demon, a lich, or some hybrid creature of the two. With no lore a sorcerer would just change their eyes and be granted a minor bonus then every 25 ranks of lore would allow them to change more parts and give them greater bonuses. Order would be something like eyes, hands, forearms, upper arms, feet, calves, upper legs, torso, then finally the neck and head. Becoming a demon would grant bonuses to AS(melee, bolt, and ranged) and a lich bonuses to CS, and the hybrid would be both but to an obviously lesser degree. This spell would have a duration of 10 minutes and be usable once per day +1 for every 50 ranks of mana control. Casting this spell should obviously change the look of the character and it would be really neat if along with a generic look characters could customize it through merchant services.

This isn't really a bad thing but I'm personally okay with using 750 to bring an abyran'rawr into Elanthia to pwn for me. I understand necromancy needs a gig in here so I advocate a hybrid 750 based on which lore is greater.

I'd expect more then just those, saying AS/CS/mix was just an an easy initial way of dividing the two. Generally the more powerful a demon is the bigger and beefier they are, able to deal out and take a lot of punishment. And lichs being creatures with extraordinary powerful magic use that to avoid taking damage or mitigating it. I also suggested mana controls increase how many times per day it can be used. The way most tend to train they'd be able to use it 3 times a day when they first learned the spell and 5 times at cap with the possibility of being able to train for 4 more uses, making a total of 9. You could use enhansives and a quartz orb anytime and this spell should provide additional benefits on top of those.

It would be terrible for me since I like demons but do not like AS spells. Stacking a 50th-level spell bonus with 715, self-knowledge of 117, a full enhancive set, and god knows what else would be ridiculous. I suspect the GMs are not looking to add more ways to pad bolt AS.
Adding to CS seems less problematic to me since it's a huge process to get it to 540 and then max two different stats through enhancives already. Still, I bet they would be skittish about that too.
