ReplyI have a suggestion for a new spell, or at the least a creation for magic items, or for GM use..
The spell name Magical Suppression;
When this spell is cast magic use of an offensive or combat nature is restricted to level 19 and below spells of all circles. The spell effects the room or area its cast in, cannot be targeted, it also restricts the ability of creatures in the same way.
spell duration 30 seconds per level of caster but no more then 5 minutes, non refresh-able, does not stack.
This spell can be found in scrolls or imbedables also.
Now that 319 is an open slot, maybe the above suggested spell can fill it? Although after a second revision my goal was to create a supression that removed all mass spells of war, so it would likely have to be level 17 I think or whatever would also keep void and or maelstrom from being cast.
It basically is a sanctuary that would keep the playing field below mass attacks. It could be very useful in many ways
