Duration: 1200 seconds + 60 seconds for every Minor Spiritual rank known; cumulative.
Type: Defense
This spell creates a bright aura around the target, making them appear more powerful, and bestows a +10 to their Defense Strength (DS). When cast on others, the duration is not cumulative; it is refreshable.
If someone else casts 103 on me, I cannot refresh it. I have to wait for there spell to completely wear off before I can even cast my 103 on myself.

if this is still happening, you should actually bug it, unless they cast before the changes and you haven't logged in since. After a death I always hit my casting rouge with a shot of 103 from my sorcerer to get him started, then the rogue self-casts the rest of the way to 4 hours.
There should be no issues with self-cast stacking on top of someone else's cast for 103 because 103 has no lore componant. 104 and 105 on the other hand, can be an issue due to the lore componant.
