Hello,
One feature of F2P in many games is the ability to gift items to other players. This function is very feasible currently using the Simucoin store because you can buy the item, get it in token form, and then give the token to other players in game.
However, as a subscriber, I cannot buy F2P-specific items in the store. This prevents me from buying items for my friends that are trying the game out for free, but do not wish to link their CC# to their free account until they're certain they will spend time and money playing the game. For now, I wish to gift my F2P friends with little bonuses and convenience items purchased from the store (xp bonuses mostly). One of my friends banked in Ta'Vaalor and is now stuck in that area where no one else plays, so I have no way to help him get his bank account moved using my own Simucoin credits.
Would it be possible somehow to unlock or provide a method for Subscribers to purchase F2P simucoin tokens in order to help new F2P players? Perhaps all that is necessary is to remove the restriction on these items in the store. I attempted to purchase the bank relocation token using the direct URL provided by my friend, but it informed me that a subscriber is not eligible to purchase the item (which seems backwards!).
I could open a F2P account for myself and have access to the items that way --- HOWEVER --- I already have credits on my Subscriber account that I would like to spend, and there does not appear to be a way to transfer those credits to another account (maybe an email to billing will work?)
Any help would be appreciated!

Sure this sounds very nice and helpful.
Let's just make sure there is some very clear wording that any items which are F2P specific will not work for a normal account. I can see someone buying the experience boost etc by mistake thinking they can use it on a regular subscription and getting upset.

>Can Simutronics' "Gift of Adventure" be used to purchase SimuCoins?
>If so, you give your friend's account a GoA. S/he turns around and spends that SimuLated SimuCash to buy SimuCoins, then uses the SimuCoins to get the upgrade needed to receive the item from you.
Unfortunately, the minimum GoA amount of $10.00. I want to spend like $1.00 in Simucoin credits for a couple of friends. Some of the items that F2P can purchase are only like $.40 for a greater experience bonus, so I see no reason to send so much $$ to a single individual when I would rather spread out that $10.00 to other people than just one F2P player.
This seems like a natural thing for F2P to allow. Players attempting to convince friends & family to play games often go to the extent of giving them in-game gifts in the form of convenience bonuses through the in-game stores. Please consider a method of allowing transfers of either Simucoin credits or allowing Subscribers to purchase F2P items with their credits.

The reason subscribers can't buy F2P items in the store is to avoid confusion and related unhappy calls to billing when the purchaser is unable to use the item they just bought. Also many items activate on delivery which wouldn't give you the chance to give them away.
If you want to give GoAs for less then $10 then you can ask our billing department as they're able to send them in any amounts.

Would you take issue with providing a "Simucoin gift Token"? Perhaps in 100 token increments with a jar / booklet of them being allowed to be purchased that could then be given to other players in-game?
This particular item would not be subject to any discounts (i.e. premium discount), but could be a good way to allow players to give the gift of simucoins to friends and anyone else. I know that the Gemstone community is pretty generous, and having the option to give simucoin gifts might actually be a nice way for players to show off that generosity.
If someone purchased a Simucoin gift Token on accident, they could just redeem it and regain the spent Simucoins immediately. No problem with confusion over items.

There is a technical issue in that the SimuCoin system wasn't built to work that way. The games don't have the ability to add SimuCoins to a person's balance.
