Is there any way other than the statement as they are produced, to tell a 'Best" part from any other part?
Although only 48 in crafting I got the "This is the best you will ever do" on a part, but cant see any way to tell it from the run-of-the-mill parts. Cant they be destinguished or must they just be segregated to keep them apart ?

Yes, you can APPRAISE them. A "best" piece created by a master will appraise as "SUPERIOR." So, then when you get your superior forged piece + the superior handle and then luck out with your BEST VISE attempt, the resultant product gets the bump up to perfect finished product.
