So those really old snake wands, rods, and staves that come to life and eat a certain gem for charges? I'm about to push a overhaul through that should make the owners a little more relieved to use them. Especially if you've owned one for a long time.
The wands no longer destroy themselves after X number of uses. That X was a really high value, but it was still an unknown fear coded into the script. Instead of breaking free, they shed their skin and grow. Plus... You'll just have to see.
A bug was cleaned up that caused the wands to attune to an owner on a permanent level. The attunement on these are temporary, like gambling kits.
A lot of the messaging was cleaned up of typos and run-on sentences.
They now have an ANALYZE and a DETECT (the spell), and the LORESONG has been updated.
The GET/DROP mechanics work a lot like gambling kits, where they will be safe on the ground for 5 minutes.
Their weight has been reduced to under a pound, and when worn, they will play a lot better with SORT and take a non-functional spot around the neck.
StormFront users will now see a submenu when you click and point for verbs.
You can now alter the noun from wand, rod, or staff, as well as the length of the snake. But be warned... The snake can grow on its own.
