Added to the SORT verb is a new option, alphabetic, which allows you to sort the items INSIDE a container in your inventory into alphabetical order.

To use the new SORT option, type SORT ALPHABETIC <container in your inventory>

For both legacy view and the new SortedView, this will make the single list or categorized lists appear in alphabetic order.
