Hi all,

I'm new and was just warned in game that I can only have one bank account, it seemed to indicate that the decision was kind of a big deal, so I decided to try and get some advice.

as a low level wizard which town will I be spending time in the most? or where do most players congregate? I'd feel silly if I ended up setting up my one and only bank account in the newbie zone or something.

also, side topic, is there a way to search the forums? I couldn't find one so sorry if this is a question oft asked.

Well, it's an interesting question right now as there are some major changes going on as to how "realms" work.

https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Chronomage_Teleportation_System

As of last night, there are now 2 large realms, one in the east, one in the west, and 3 isolated towns, and gold rings will work anywhere from point to point within each realm, respectively, so that really frees up your options in terms of travel times, but really doesn't answer your question :)

In terms of low-level hunting, there are three towns set up for beginning players: Wehnimer's Landing, Icemule Trace, and Ta'Vaalor. The first two are in the large western realm (West of the Dragonspine), and Ta'Vaalor is in the East (commonly referred to as Elven Nations). People gather in all three towns. the Landing is the largest, Ta'Vaalor is the smallest, but all have loyal and continuous communities, it will really depend on your roleplay/gameplay preferences.

I strongly suggest reading the starting guide for each town, and the entire New Player Category on the Wiki: https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/New_player

Which bank to use is not an oft asked question since F2P is still relatively new, but you can sort of search the forums by searching site:tinyheroes.com with any terms.

The functionality of the official message boards is often the bane of many active players. I've tried to make it easier to find folders by linking them from their respective Wiki pages.

Hope that helps

Hi,

I am a returning player so I am not completely up to date.

In the other post, three starting areas were mentioned. Each has its benefits and drawbacks as far as population, hunting areas, and shops.

I am not sure about free to play account. limitations and how they change the game experience. Pick whatever town you are in and find out if the populace meets your needs and desires, if you like it stay and open an account, though the update to travel may make where you open an account less important as posted above.

Please be sure to use the command dir for directions and look for the mentors entey. There ring the bell and if a mentor is available they will help you.

please forgive any mispellings as I am typing this on my phone

Just put your bank in the town you intend to start hunting from, I personally find the landing is the best level 0-20 town.

Do a site-limited query on tinyheroes.com with gemstone and your question, like this:

https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=gemstone+f2p+bank+site:tinyheroes.com

It's not very great but it's the best we've got.

It's also only $1 in Simucoins to change it (minimum $5 simucoin purchase). It's also $1 in simucoins to store another 100k if you don't want to stuff your pockets with notes.
