So, I was surfing around on the web and found some things that should be brought to staff attention and remedied ASAP. Basically, all your "free marketing" perks of the internet.

This link:

Should be updated.

Also, some information about GS should be stirred up, here:

And here is a listing of all the sites that have rather active viewing:

Lastly, I touched base on the subject of viral marketing (buzz marketing, commonly known as word of mouth) in another tread named "Save the Game!" I understand this is GemStone's biggest contributor when it comes to advertising, but I was wondering if we can go one step further. Currently, I, as a player, can only talk about GS and work people up to play it. I also can have a link on a website to draw people in. But that is it. Would there be a way possible to give more in terms of guidelines what we can do on our own accord to advertise for GemStone. Meaning, can we get permission to run things on YouTube, Banners on WebComics, toss a flyer up in a local gaming store, etc. Legally, we can't do that right now. Sure, you think you are doing no harm by "helping" but once it starts to touch base on misrepresentation, illegal use of artwork or "bad" advertising, things can get messy.

So... I think that we need more in terms of everything I posted about.

Is there any reason this topic hasn't been deleted or closed yet? It's way past 2007!

Did we not even have any promotions at all in 2008?

Just curious. :)
