I just noticed that its sort of impossible to buy from the silver cart pulled by the black haired dwarf when they are in the same room. I keep being told I need to order and then buy, of course when you order its for Tillie's cart heh. Directly clicking on an item on the cart (at least the shield) and just text commands bring up this dialogue.
