I've asked once, I'll ask a million times: can we please have more merchants during the day on the weekends? Felthrop seems to always be 9:30 lately. Both premium raffles are 9:00 or later this month? These are major raffles that everyone should have a shot at now and then, and accordingly I think it would be nice if they could be at like 2 PM? 6 PM? Doing them in the dinner hours on a weekend is just not fair to many of us.

Similarly, I've seen very, very few events during the day on weekdays. While I know this is a far less common time for most, it is still a good time for many. I'm not saying there should be lots of events in this timeframe, but it would be nice to see like...some late afternoon/early evening stuff on the weekdays for those of us that work nights. Cheers.

Being as these three are me, I can pretty much guarantee you won't see much in the afternoons on weekends. I only get home from work Saturday and Sunday at 3pm! My only other slot for merchants right now besides 8/9 on Saturday and 8/9/10 on Sunday is 10 or later on Monday night.

Now, I can only speak for myself, but I have a job with weird hours so I can only do what I can do! At least wherever possible the winner doesn't have to come to the raffle...usually Custom Swears, the Artifact Raffles, and most of the Monthly Raffles.

I year you Jainna, but this just means it's not on you to do something about the problem with all the best premium raffles being late evening. Honestly it doesn't seem like anyone other than you cares much, so I guess I'll just cancel my premium account and buy 3 million silver a month instead to get the stuff I want. Thanks for the response though, take it easy.

GMs don't earn enough as GMs to make this their full-time work. They do all that they do in their spare time, which may or may not coincide with a particular player's schedule. Because their time is limited, they allot it as best they can to a number of different projects and events, but there will be some gaps. To serve the largest number of players, many GMs offer events when the most people are playing.

I'm not sure where anyone would get "they just don't care enough" from these facts, nor take other people's schedules as a personal slight.

I'm saying it IS on me to do something about the "best" Premium raffles all being late at night because they are ALL me. Monthly Raffle is me, Artifact Raffle is me, Felthrop is me, Xerria is me, Jebariah is me, Nycolle is me, Geltrude is me, Arbigail is me, Ezmerilla is me, and Dreknia is me. All of them are Premium only merchants who work whenever my schedule allows. At the moment, I only seem to have later nights. A year ago, I could NEVER work later nights and people complained about having too many things in the afternoon when they are not off work yet. A year ago I was off on weekends, now I'm off on Wednesday only. Things change.

All the GMs care, it's just that we can only do what our own RL schedules allow. I would hate for you to cancel Premium over the times of raffles, because like I said, that could change in a few months, and I've made it a point to respond to player feedback by having more raffles available where you can buy a ticket and just sit somewhere in rest mode and if you win, I will plunk the item down in one of your containers. So you can be asleep, or at work, or whatever, and not miss out.

As for the other GMs, some may not look at the Premium boards as much because their guruships are elsewhere, so you could also suggest in the Event boards for just more daytime or weekday Premium events. But I know Naelyne and Sorissa are almost always on a weekday.

Honestly, more needs to be offered for premium. I mean things with zero extra requirement other than being a premium member. This is solely my view on the things that make premium valuable to me and what features are lackluster to me.

Extra character slots are nice but I rarely use more than 2 characters a month.

Lockers are nice but some mules work just as well.

FWI to me is just a bank accessable from any town. Can't say I even know what else is on that isle.

Monthly spell - Never saw the point

Homes are just so meh. No updates to them. Make them upgradable to workshops and then we can talk.

Premium points - 100 a month. As someone pointed out if this is why you are premium you are getting yourself a raw deal. You could get 3m coins per month at that rate (which is worth a lot more than 100 premium points).

2 raffle per month - The items are always so meh. I look at whats being raffled and almost immediately forget about it.

Now this is just for me, other people will probably feel differently. I would recommend some of those login rewards just be given to premium each month, or some number of simucoins. I have been doing the math and I think that once I spend my premium points I'm going to go back to regular sub and just buy a character slot.

I use FWI for a few things. Obviously the second locker, which is useful for getting gems to my alts for bounties all over Elanthia. Another set of pawnshop tables to easily check; maybe not something you use but I make a lot of money that way. Another alchemist table to get stuff off. FWI is a place to exchange stuff with alts from all over Elanthia: black crystals off the shelf, pure potions in towns you can't get them, herbal tinctures for bleeding bodies, herbs with names you can actually remember. That probably sums up my use on a regular basis but...that is not a small list.

I'd really like to see a sorcerer guild there (more places to clean/polish easily), but I wonder if that'll be constructed while I'm still gaining ranks in potions and tinctures.

The deathbot will come back eventually.

Just use the stones from the Mist Harbor backroom. No exchanging necessary.

I get everything everyone is saying about this, though I'm somewhat baffled at the naysayer that thinks I'm being unreasonable for expecting accommodation for the hundreds of dollars a year I pay.

To Jaina, I'd say this: the best raffles are the ones you can't win without being present. If you really want to make this work, and give parity to a service that we pay a ton for (25 bucks a month for a text based game????!?!?), then we need to be able to win ANY premium raffle without being present, and then Assist to get the work (such as adding a flare) done. Should it turn out that we can't have the service done, then you should just raffle off two slots on the following month. Without some system like this in place, or without more people with more diverse schedules working on the premium merchants (and my god, after you listed it off I realized it was far worse than I thought), there won't be any parity in how these services are distributed - services that we pay for, to all those naysayers that seem to think I'm here with my hat in my hand. I am really grateful to all the work you've done Jainna, and please don't take any of this personally; I think I have a reasonable bone to pick, that's all.

We'd all like merchant times accommodated around our schedule, but it is simply the way it is, and there is nothing Jainna can do personally to shift her schedule around to accommodate you personally. The GM assigned to any task in game has to perform that task in their free time, and that might not match up with yours. There are a lot of Premium benefits and the dollar value for some of them has been determined in the SimuCoin store, but merchant services is not one of them. It's up to you to determine whether the monthly value of Premium remains if your schedule doesn't match up with hers.
