Inner Harmony: What does and doesn't work? on 12/26/2012 03:45 PM CST

So there has been some discussion about stances, and recurring theme is "What EXACTLY does Inner Harmony work on?"

I don't have any monks, but I'm really curious about this.

The discussion revolves around:

A) What can Inner Harmony break at all

and

B) What can the rank 3 auto-break be used on? (under the uncertainty of whether you can change stances while immobilized)

So far, I only have a list of things it DOESN'T work on:
Stuns brought on by spells?
Itchy Curse
Poison

Found a caster to test this out.

It removes: deflection, saturation, calm, sleep, slow, bind, web, immolation, interference, frenzy. Basically, most spells that don't have a stun on them.

You *can not* use this stance while webbed, bound, slept, or otherwise incapacitated so I really do not see a point in getting the third rank. It's a very solid two rank CMAN, imo.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if there are any others out there that aren't "castable". Like Spore traps or something weird like that.

Can you change to it while under the effects of immolation?

What about being frozen in place by Ice Patch?

doesn't seem to work against swarms or weeds. Doesn't clear up plagues from flesh golems...

it did seem to help against curse though. Either that or it just wore off on its own.
