I was just wondering if there was any way to let gracious people offering spellups to the recently dead that maybe they should not cast at a person with 1640 active.

I'm not sure the best way to do that, but some kind of messaging would be quite worthwhile. For lich it wouldn't be too hard to change the ;waggle script to check if 1640 is active, and by default not spell up people without an override flag, but as for the actual game interface this might be good.

A lot of people don't know how Divine Word works, and will just as soon start casting a ton of spells at a recently-raised character, but a lot of the mana is going to be wasted. It's one thing explaining how Divine Word works to the character that's dead (I don't mind this), but it's becoming difficult to tell everyone in the room about it.

Probably this would be appreciated all around, and maybe do its part to help spread the Divine Word.

So I'm curious about 1640 and how it works. Casting 1640 with only 8 max spirit would lead to spirit death upon unlinking with someone who has 10 max spirit, is this correct? Or is the spirit check for spirit that is missing AFTER the 10 minute link has completed?

So effectively, in order to raise someone with 10 spirit, I would need 9 myself to not die at unlink?

I'm asking because play group members are spirit focused guys due to selling their soul.

Thanks!
