So it appears that no one stocks any Rift Crawler teeth in their shops and I gotta go get them on my own.

Haven't dealt with Rift Crawlers before (haven't even been to plane 4 where I assume they are found). Anything I should know? Like tame kitty kats, right?

They burrow like roa'ters, including when they spawn. Try to stay unencumbered and see if you can get a warrior to add slash resistance to your armor (Kerl will usually be happy to do so). Be sure to have a dagger handy in case they swallow you. If they do, pull out your dagger and ATTACK WALL until you get out. They also have aural attacks that can put you in RT or send you into other rooms or, worst case scenario, immobilize you.

Other than that.. yeah, kitty cats.

What Droit said. Also, I think many of the warrior/rogue types that hang out in offensive have shown that being in an offensive stance is NOT the way to go. Either that or heavier armor folks have a much harder time dodging the burrow attack. My brother who is a cap paladin in offensive wearing plate (2xcm, fully trained armor, master cmandef)seems to get hit harder than I as a cap sorcerer in guarded with zero dodge/cm in doubles. Take that for what it is worth. Not sure if they downtweaked that, but it seemed like some very well trained people were basically instantly dying from the burrow attack for a while.

Plane four can be a rough place, as the crusaders do not stun and regen fast. The crawlers also shake stuns. Good luck, the rift rules.

Hmmm. I wear chain hauberk, not plate. I am about 1.75x in CM, 1.4x in armor, and use ARMOR EVASION (it definitely helps in the Bowels). I do hide pretty well, but I expect that won't help much.

Sounds like I am in for a beating. Lets see how many sets of teeth I can get before going down...

It has been stated that offensive stance does not help you dodge burrows. That's simply a long-standing myth. Defensive stance provides a bonus to dodging.

I try to stock the teeth, but at 2 pounds apiece, it's hard to keep them in stock... plus, there's a war goin' on, so I haven't been hunting. I'll likely go hunt a bit more and start stocking them again before too long.

I have it on good authority that Kerl curses each and every one of those teeth with awful, terrible things and you shouldn't buy them. I'll be selfless and dispose of them for the good of the land.
