Is there any way for a pure to hunt vvrael witches? Them seem to just absorb all spells. Does anything other than physical attacks work on them?

I think only physical attacks. I was never able to hurt them with Faulkil.
But my wife's wizard got an heirloom task for them a week or two back and was able to complete it. The benefits of having a hunting partner. :p

On, and interestingly enough, flares (which are magic) will work on them as well (assuming your base attack can hit them).
