Just want to clarify, cause there has been other things about trial accounts.
I have a stanard account and the Plat trial just fine, I can log in to Plat and have been playing, but I can't post on the Plat specific boards, any of them.
I'll look into this for you, as from what I understand, you should be able to access the Platinum forums and post while on the trial. I'll get back to you as soon as I can with the information, hopefully today.
