I was wondering why Martial Stances cant be moved from general martial stance to offensive and defensive stances and allow monks in particular to have one of each.

You can also allow for a monk to have two stances but with a payment percentage of their max stamina on a sliding scale. Say 25 percent penalty to max stamina if you have two martial stances each at Rank 1, all the way down to 10 percent penalty to max stamina if you have 2 martial stances each at Rank 3.

Either of these or some combination of both would make me one happy voln monk and one happy sunfist monk.
