Being recently returned to Elanthia I was wondering if there is a particular House associated with the sorcerer profession or if this would perhaps be an interesting future project.
There is so much (rather intense) discussion on the boards concerning Sorcerer development I thought it might be interesting to put some of this energy into the construction of a unique Organization that would encourage young sorcerers and create a sense of continuity within the profession.
It would also be amazing in that there is so much cumulative knowledge amongst the various sorcerers that I imagine such a house would be fascinating archive of literature, histories, etc. penned by sorcerers themselves. Perhaps such a place exists and Nou has never been there.
Anyway, just an idle fantasy from my teeming sleep-deprived psyche.

I wish there was. Nothing appeals to me more than a Sorcerer House. I suspect that it would be unlikely, given the status of the Guild in the first place, in addition to the fact that Houses are so hard to have made. Instead, I can see an MHO being created, with varying success.
As for pre-existing Houses, I'd say any of the general magic/education oriented Houses would be best. Twilight is a general choice, Moonstone Abbey if your character is female, or as a fallback, Rone Academy. Some of the MHOs, of which I admittedly know very little about, have serious lore collections, which often include interesting stories to Sorcery in general.
