OK, this one is a little stranger. It also occurs with only one specific character. When in game, the screen data goes by in a very jerky manner, which is hard for me to describe. It's almost like what you would see in a room with a lot of screen roll, except the delay is minimal and there is no problem with inputted commands being implemented. It occurs no matter what browser I use; chrome, firefox, or explorer all give the same results. It's quite annoying, although there seems to be minimal effect on actual combat mechanics. Note: this effect does NOT occur with the web client FE. Unfortunately, I can't stand using that FE, so that is not an option.
Well, OK, I might be able to tolerate the Simu web browser if I could figure out some way to expand the visible window. As is stands now, however, if I do something like type "spell active" on my wizard, half the spells listed don't even fit on the screen.
"So, what does that green line on the graph represent?"
"Oh, that's the projection of a hypothetical offspring from a union between Sauron and Cruella de Ville; we use that as a baseline for determining character alignment."

I don't use lich, no. Also, how do I delete and reload character files? I certainly don't want to screw anything up.

If you do not use LICH, then this question does not pertain at this point.
If you use SF FE and store your settings and scripts on the Simu server, this could cause problems. I've never seen them described as you're describing them, Throgg, but it's worthy of a look. Check out posts 411-418 in this thread. Post 412 is here:

As a final attempt, you might try logging into a character that works fine for you, and then exporting all of your information into an XML file. Then remove the existing Stormfront XML file, and load the one you just created. Check to see if that made any difference when you log in with the 'problematic' character. I give this low odds, but it's something to try.
Let us know!
