Daxela will be returning with her shop of gems. There is nothing new in the shop this year as I've been "asleep" for a few months. However, she will be working on her jewelry boxes in various ways, so if you own one, you'll want to watch for her (or any suspicious things that may fall from the sky).

Additionally, this will likely be the ONLY event offering jewelry boxes services in 2017.

Welcome back! I hope the other GMs told you how annoying I was going to EVERY merchant service asking for a custom jewelry box setting until they threatened to kill me if I asked!
This is gonna be an awesome festival!

Sticks and stones... well, no just sticks.

Applewood, cherrywood, oak, and orase, mossbark, and faewood, they're all over the place. What do they do, what are they for? To answer the question you'll have to buy one (or more!). So come through the aperture and pick up a few, to see what all tricks these sticks do.

Keep your eye out for Fantas-Stick!

Gems in piles, gems in bags, gems you found on shriveled old hags. How can I sort them, or keep them all straight? If I had a way to cut them, that would be great!

Welcome to Cutters Tent, where we aim to handle your gem sorting needs. Need to cut some fresh gems? We've got gem cutters. Need to cut gems differently? We've got lots of patterns for your cutters. Want a special design for your pattern? We can do that too.

Opening soon on an Isle near you!

OOC NOTE:
I have permission to alter both cutters and patterns for this festival only. I will be offering a few sessions dedicated specifically to this service. I hold final say on pattern designs so "No" means "No".

You'll pop over to Plat for this too, right?! My cleric could use a neato custom cut for her chrisms...

Yes I will. I want to make sure I get my plat peeps covered, so I'll be announcing each time that I do well in advance.

Welcome back, Jainna! You've been missed.

I think my gnome found one of those dropped gems last year but didn't have a box to work on. You were nice enough to do a lighten or deepen if I remember so thanks for that.

Sounds great. I'd like to get a lorminstra themed gem cutter for Lilium.

For all of you scribes out there - some new writing accessories to be found at 'Now Is The Write Time':

G>open my ink
You unscrew the lid on your azure glass inkpot, taking care not to spill the contents.
G>shake my ink
Holding your fingers over the opening, you turn your azure glass inkpot over to agitate the azure liquid inside.
G>nudge my ink
You dip your flamingo quill into your azure glass inkpot, submerging the nib briefly into the azure ink before scraping off any excess.
G>tickle ink
While holding your azure glass inkpot, you absently tap your finger against your chin, leaving a smudge of azure ink across your skin.

Someone looking at you may notice a slight feature change: She has a smudge of azure ink upon her chin.

But wait!

G>tap quill
Pondering what to write next, you tap the end of your flamingo quill against your cheek.
G>wear quill
You tuck your flamingo quill behind your ear, adjusting the quill for an aesthetically pleasing effect.
G>tap quill
With a slight nod, you tap the flamingo quill tucked behind your ear and mouth, "Noted."

Someone looking at you may notice a slight feature change: A bright pink flamingo feather quill is tucked behind her ear.

More actions in store on both items.
