Without commeting on gear in OTF I'd like to say I don't like the whole fading out but never coming back. Is that what it is, the creature bleeding out? Can't seers heal themselves? The times it has happened to me it has always been seers, although I will readily admit I don't keep track of the lower level things like scouts.

Just to clarify the previous post I'm aware of the silent entry that I see was talked about previously. I'm talking about when the creature never comes back anywhere.

I'm pretty sure that I heard that 'never coming back' is not intended and shouldn't happen. Things that are bleeding aren't supposed to bleed or lose health through poison/701/disease when they're faded, if I recall correctly. It's possible that weapon fire goes off when they're faded, I've never heard anything about that.

But there's no guarantee that they'll come back in a room with a person, and with the size of OTF it's likely they'll die and decay before somebody stumbles across them if they're low on health and/or spawn in a remote area.

The silent entry thing is fix0red, props to Oscuro for that one.

It would be neat if Ithzir that died on the other side were sucked back into OTF, but even then, if they went and rotted in a room no one is in, the weapon is just as likely to be grabbed by the janitor as not. Atleast they'd (the players) have a fighting chance to recover it, though.
