Is it really necessary for seers to have a 426 CS and get the 25 TD pushdown with web? It's completely brutal against squares... We lose the vast majority our of DS, unlike pures - and semis still have quite a bit of spell DS.
Cloudy wisps swirl about you.
CS: +426 - TD: +351 + CvA: -18 + d100: +82 - -5 == +144
Warding failed!
The wisps solidify into thick strands of webbing that tighten about your body!
That's with:
Your SIGN OF STAUNCHING is no longer effective.
Your SIGN OF SHIELDS is no longer effective.
Your SIGN OF DEFLECTION is no longer effective.
A faint silvery glow fades from around you.
The webs dissolve from around you.
The feeling of intense rage leaves you.
Your SIGN OF SWORDS is no longer effective.
The powerful look leaves you.
Your SIGN OF DEFENDING is no longer effective.
Your SIGN OF STRIKING is no longer effective.
The silvery luminescence fades from around you.
The bright luminescence fades from around you.
The glowing specks of energy surrounding you suddenly shoot off in all directions, then quickly fade away.
Your SIGN OF SMITING is no longer effective.
The deep blue glow leaves you.
You feel your extra strength departing.
The light blue glow leaves you.
Your SIGN OF DISSIPATION is no longer effective.
and
Wisdom (WIS): 100 (25) ... 100 (25)
And do they get the pushdown with area webs? Sure seems like it.
And what's the relationship between the end roll and the duration of the webbing? There's no specific numbers on the website, or on Krakiipedia.

That one I'm alright with (selfishly) because I have a fabulous bolt DS.
And, while I don't know the numbers, I seem to get webbed for a lot shorter duration when I do get tagged by a bolt web (probably because my bolt DS is much better in comparison to their bolt AS than my TD to their CS).
So that's another question I guess - how is the web duration from a
bolt calculated?

Wish I knew. I get hit with 2 spells when in OTF self-spelled. Web and Silence. If you want to feel better about your run of bad luck take a gander at this: http://forum.gsplayers.com/showpost.php?p=1218524&postcount=4487
With Oscuro MIA (From the boards) I would try Emailing him and Estild directly for an answer.

In regard to that combat exerpt that was posted ...
Bad luck? You let a huge swarm of baddies gather around you. If I see more than two of those guys in a room, I move out.
Also, have you tried greater e-wave prior to open implosion? It should stun some of those Ithzir and they will be sucked into the vacuum when it is cast. My sorceress isn't old enough to hunt there, but it seemed to work quite well on the moon, with stunnable opponents. OK, there are no bodies to loot afterward, but better alive with no loot than dead with gems on the ground.
"So, what does that green line on the graph represent?"
"Oh, that's the projection of a hypothetical offspring from a union between Sauron and Cruella de Ville; we use that as a baseline for determining character alignment."

He was fine until the combo 20 second RT / empathic dispel taking cloak of shadows.
I can think of a lot of ways to describe that, but few that I can post....
Granted, that's more likely with more critters around, but one's perception of what is or isn't a lot of bad guys changes dramatically after a while in there... especially when it's crowded with characters.

I lost 140, 102, and 712 all in one shot. That's close to 300 DS gone. As for stunning, Seers don't.
I will admit I got lazy. I had 1 Griffin left to kill on my bounty and I was done. I was hoping for a vape so I could be done with the hunt. I don't die often, atleast in ways that are my fault. I will chalk that one up to human error, but that was a lot of bad juju all at once. Had I 1 second more I would have been fine.
P.S
Only runetwig-wielding sissies run from swarms.
