Kudos to all of the GMs and their hard work last night! This krolvin I vision allowed characters of all levels to participate. I don't think anyone could have felt left out. I especially enjoyed the fact that different locations had enemies of different difficulty (Sands, front gate, dinghy, or town). All invasions should be this way.

All of you are doing a great job of making Gemstone and o line alternative to the d&d hobby shop. Thank you

I stated in the Landing forum but I'll say it again here. I want to give a HUGE KUDOS to all the players first. It was the player driven RP that organized the defenses, set leaders for each group, the leaders themselves to gather people to help in that part of the defense, and the players that rolled with it and stuck to the job at hand. I saw many new faces mixed in with old, I saw many low training players ask where they can help out at and jumped on when they were pointed in the right direction. In days of old you would see 1 or 2 giant groups of high level players that would walk around and by shear numbers fight the invading horde. Many times lower level players got left out or went away because they felt they couldn't contribute. Last night was about all people and levels in many groups, coordination between the groups, and mobility to deal with things that came up. To me from a player point of view this is a long way better in how to fight against an invasion. All this was done by all of us players to help include everyone without the GMs.

Next a kudos to Kenstrom. If it wasn't for the fact that he rolled with the players' RP and worked his invasion to match our strategy I do not believe the organization would have worked as well. Thanks to the fact he kept it busy on many fronts, made it not boring for any one group, and kept monster levels at the right level for each group I do believe everyone was happy to keep doing what they were doing. Thank you for a well executed invasion.

Here is hoping that other GMs and players take note of what happen last night and see how we can continue to improve how we go about invasions so that all of us can continue to have fun without leaving anyone out.

Thank you everyone! It was definitely fun to prepare for it, and then definitely fun to see it all go down! I hope this can be the beginning of something better when it comes to invasions, organization, etc. I would also like to piggyback on the kudos to you all, the players, as well. Your communication and mobilization allowed me to roll out a number of different things to help include people, keep it interesting, and made it intense for me as well since I was winging it half the time based on all of you. I think it was a huge blast and I'm excited for round 2...

aye ... was a good'n, and well set out. twas like bein on the wrong end of a siege, and town done fited em off.

Clunk was incredulous that anyone would announce to the Landing that they were about to attack.
But then, he heard it was Krolvin ...

Did anyone else make note of the mix of undeads? Krolvin undead as well as human undead? Seems to Clunk that someone should point out to the krolvin (if any get into a communicable mood) that someone who controls the afterlife has no regard for either of those races. That's the enemy, anything else is playing as pawns to their controller.
