Rank based enhancives are so useless at the lower level where they would actually be useful because of the level requirment. When found on a weapon like this it would be awesome for that level 3 character but pretty useless to anyone over level 20 who meets the requirement. Can you guys re-think these or just remove level restrictions on rank based enhancives? The cost to recharge them is already insane compared to the bonus based cost and I'd just like to see weapons that get generated like this be more useful for the short amount of levels where it can really be used.

The critic weighting on this weapon still makes it useful for a level 3 character but they still get no use from the 4 ohe ranks and by 20th level a character wouldn't bother using this weapon at all.


It has a bonus of +5 from a normal longsword, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in edged weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet.

The harmonics generated tell you that the longsword inflicts more fearsome wounds when it strikes.

The longsword resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 4 to Edged Weapons Ranks.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 20 times.
The longsword looks to have a huge number of charges remaining.

You sense that the mithril longsword will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.
