As far as I can tell there's nothing special about it, but I haven't been able to find a bard to sing to it yet.

some golden double leather

has an enchanter's glyph on it. AI crystal shows it as an orange beam. Doesn't seem to provide any kind of skill or stat bonuses that I can tell.

Even if it is just basic 2x double leather, it's still nice to find something inside a box other then the normal treasure. Although, it would have been better if it was chain armor for my warrior to wear....or a quarterstaff for him to use (hint, hint).
