Had a rogue with 140 ranks of armor skill and some full plate trying out a DEFENSIVE MM bonus.

Did a number of tests W/O armored evasion in defensive stance: average MM -10, low -9 high -17.

Did a number of tests same thing but added armored evasion (Rank 4): Average MM - 20, low -13 high -33!

Is armored evasion working correctly with reducing AP through armored evasion?

Same question and over-training in armor?

Test it on kobolds. It should greatly reduce the variability in MM. If that was tests on kobolds there is something badly wrong, but it looks like you were changing critters between tests and that the second test was done on a critter fairly close to your level and the first was significantly below it.

I don't know how the rounding works, so I don't know the exact benefit for other ranks, but if you have 4 ranks evasion from all 140 points in it, you should get a benefit of 1 to MM in plate. You aren't going to spot this without a tightly controlled test.

Each overtraining should also give a benefit of 1 to MM on plate. Again you need to control the test tightly to spot it.

Tests were all done like-level: PC and NPC bandits. Did about 50 shots with evasions 50 without. Defensive lows were much lower with evasion. Offensive lows were much lower with evasion (as low as 67!)

Armored evasion is causing MM to go down as far as my data is showing.

Under a second review vs a jungle troll; 50 jab MM w/o evasion and 50 jab MM w/ evasion(using a suggestion of fighting a 'kobold'), the lowest lows still happen with armored evasion but the overall average was better MM with armored evasion.

Still confused why I get lowest lows with armored evasion vs a jungle troll (no evasion: 91, with evasion: 81 in full plate with 140 armor ranks and no encumbrance) but it could have to do with an average higher MM on higher tiers and fewer initial decent or good attempts vs a young critter samples.
