The barbed rolaren pikes were of a heavily crit weighted variety, and I believe, lance based. If it's the one with the geometric design, it's one of my old ones. A good weapon, but IMO, any kind of weighting borders on being superfluous, when on a lance.
By the way, yes, I played Kliest way back in the day, and I remember you well- good to see that you're still about, too!
For interesting poles, look up posts by Menos (Joe Krystal on the officials, I believe). I have a few decent ones kicking around my lockers, mostly of the enchanted variety, but he sometimes puts a few out with some interesting abilities.

It's an honest awl-pike, not a lance.
