Hi all,
I'm looking for a good place to hunt, currently a lvl 52 two-hander warrior. I've tried hunting in the marsh near pinefar, but it was a struggle. Those necromancers would destroy me, and there are never any healers around here so I'd go broke buying herbs.
I've been away from GS for a long time and everything is different now, so any feedback would be great.
Many thanks!

A good "getting back into the groove" hunting grounds at that level is waerns outside of bonespear tower in solhaven. They can bite and make you drop your weapon, but are otherwise utterly harmless. You can use signs/symbols at the door into bonespear, rest of the area is magic free. Inside the tower is also not too bad for warrior types. Everything there is undead.
My favorite grounds at that level was the lava flows on Teras. You mostly have to avoid the skayls, but they are not plentiful and not quick to cast. There are lots of tricks needed to survive the area, but it is one of the most fun hunting grounds in the game (for me anyway). Stay on the east side of the lower area, never go west. Never search skayls. Never attack a wasp nest unless it "is strangely quiet". Do not berserk (see wasp nests). Use sperf to keep your DS in the ideal range. Ideal being high enough that a thrak with a d100 of 100 does not give you a minor, but a pyro has at least a 30% chance to hit you (d100 71 =101 endroll).

Waerns at 49 +/- is a really great recommendation. I have to agree. Otherise Krakii has become your best friend. http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Banshee
This lists everything within a few levels of a creature on somewhat of a sliding scale as you cycle through searching, creatures, etc.
