When perusing the Geography -> Maps section of the play.net site a bit ago, I stumbled upon a bit of an anomaly with one of the maps, compared to the others, and was wondering which was correct?

The anomaly is that it has River's Rest and the Citadel across the river from each other, and River's Rest is not on the island in the middle of the river.

The other two maps that I'm comparing it to are: http://www.play.net/images/gs3/maps/elanith.jpg and http://www.play.net/images/gs3/maps/finalmap.jpg
Where River's Rest is actually on the island, and the Citadel is a fair bit east-northeast-ward.

So, which (set of) map(s) is correct?

I answered in the Discussion with Simu topic. I'll put it here as well.

River's Rest is definitely on the island, so the first map seems to have the key locations just a little off. My guess is that they put the listing where it is to show the island still. As for the Citadel, that seems to be way off, as the other maps are more accurate.

A better place for these sort of things would be in the General Roleplay area, where world discussions are concerned. I would have read this sooner there!
