So mountain lions are supposed to be level 18, but their TDs seem crazy high.

Based on the TD pushdown from bone shatter used by my empath friend, the lions are indeed level 18, but they have TDs that are about double the TDs of most creatures around their level (note that when it died, no spells fell off so that's just how the mountain lion is).

I think this is basically the question. With the Confluence updates, there were some unexpected changes with MnM TDs. No idea why mountain lions would get roped into this, and maybe it's just always been this way. But for a basically vanilla animal, they ward as if they're around level 30.
