Early on, this is what we were told, but more recently, we were told that enchants would be done at the end of the second round. Could you confirm which it is so I know if I need to load up with possible projects on the off chance I win?

Yes, bring your item to be enchanted to the initial run. The work will be done for the each winner immediately after the run.

If it is not technically impossible to enchant the item, I will enchant it. Very few things are technically impossible - they would be things where their enchant is hard-coded into a script - one possible example is items that "cycle" through different levels of enchants. I can't give better info without seeing the item in question, and since only 10 of you will have to worry about it, we'll get into the nitty gritty after you win. :)
