First off, I would like to plead that which verbs work with mounts be explained in advance, even if the actual text is not shared. For such an investment, especially in real cash to get raikhen, it's incredibly disappointing to have to play the massively frustrating game of "guess the verb" just to figure out what I can do with one.

Second, and related, I would like to request that all mounts have their drop down menus in the Storm FE be adjusted to include which verbs can be used with them instead of the default drop down which has zero relevance to the item.

Given how much work is being done lately to update analyzes on items to note more information, such as what verb traps they have, as well as the excellent sharing of back end mechanical information and formulas on the wiki, forums and Discord, it's incredibly disheartening to have mounts relegated to some sort of super secret thing where you can't even find out what you can do to interact with them without first buying one and then spending a lot of time somewhere out of the way playing guess the verb. This is even more frustrating when it's not readily apparent as to whether a verb is actually bugged or not, because you don't even know if you should be able to use it.

All that said, I believe that the hart mount is bugged for a number of verbs. I did not play the guess the verb game too much with it but instead used the list of verbs on the wiki for mounts, plus a couple others (push/pull). The ones that appear to be written specifically for the hart are gorgeous. Others are underwhelming or simply not functional.

I agree with all you stated, and I would hope that as verbs are fixed/adjusted/changed/added it is done so in all instances.

I also found a couple other verbs which work for me:

smooch hart (not mounted)
You lean forward and plant a light smooch on a majestic pristine white hart's nose.

smooch hart (mounted)
You lean forward and plant a light smooch between a majestic pristine white hart's ears and hear him grunt softly in response.

tickle hart (same mounted as not mounted)
Carefully, you reach forward and tickle a small tuft of fur protruding from a majestic pristine white hart's ear. He grunts softly and flicks his ear a couple of times.

Thank you

Not all mount types have the same verbs, and not all mount type verbs are the same tiers. Further, not all statuses will always generate a response (ie: mounted versus not mounted versus non-owner).

I corrected the ones you mentioned that had an obvious typo/error, though it may not be live yet. Were you just listing all the others to show which verbs you had found? Or did you notice an issue with them?

Here is a list of all the Cervidae verbs and tiers:

Applaud: Rare
Appraise: All
Attend: Uncommon/Rare
Babble: All
Bow: Rare
Clean: Uncommon/Rare
Growl: Rare
Hiss: Uncommon/Rare
Hug: All (but this is a default/generic response since there isn't a special one for cervidae mounts)
Pat: Rare
Pinch: Rare
Pose: Rare
Push: Uncommon/Rare
Pull: Rare
Scratch: All
Rub: All
Smooch: Uncommon/Rare
Tickle: All
Touch: All

There is one more rare verb for mounts, but it's pending some adjustments. Once it's complete, I'll add to this post.

>I would hope that as verbs are fixed/adjusted/changed/added it is done so in all instances.
This is commonplace.

Edit: Added the final rare verb (PAT).

This is lovely! Is there any chance of getting this for the the original mounts that went out? I've still never managed to find a list of my Nightmare's verbs!

Haliste,

THANK YOU so much for finally providing the list of verbs that should work with a mount! That goes an incredibly long way to helping me (or anyone else) figure out if a verb output is bugged or not. I haven't yet had the opportunity to test based on the list you provided for cervidae, but I will let you know if I see anything else that appears wrong.

I look forward to seeing the same list for both horses and tortoises, as well as hearing about the additional verb for cervidae mounts.

As a follow up, would it be possible for 1) the ANALYZE on the different mounts' reins/leads/straps to include the intended verbs for interacting with their respective mounts, and 2) have the various mounts' drop down menu (in the Storm FE) updated to include those verbs instead of the default menu?

Thanks again.

As an FYI, the list of horse and tortoise verbs was provided by Haliste and put on the wiki by me a year ago. It has since been moved by GM Xeraphina to two new pages located here: https://gswiki.play.net/Horse_mount and https://gswiki.play.net/Tortoise_mount.

EK's request is still valid. The list on the wiki is incomplete. I've seen more verbs on my horse mount than what's on the wiki, though I haven't logged them because I have no way of determining which tier the verbs belong to.

You reply, speaking to the lady, "At least I have ratings."

I bugged the reins. Is that the appropriate way to do that?
