Soooo, it turns out I'm an idiot.
I have an alt character for whom I purchased a body build during the weekend, because it was perfect for him and brought his look completely together.
In the moment, I had forgotten that I was planning to start this character fresh - same name, same class, just a reroll to correct a few things since he's just past the cutoff for fixing (level 21).
I gathered all of his things, emptied his bank accounts, handed the gear off to my 2nd account, and did one final LOOK to make sure I captured the features that I wanted to keep, and of course, noticed the build, the wheels turned and I said some choice words that might be worthy of a custom swear.
So, the good news is that I haven't rerolled him yet - but I still want to. Is there ANY chance of the body build surviving a reroll? I won't be around for the second run unfortunately, so even if I was willing to spring the cash for another token, I wouldn't be able to purchase it again. I'm rather attached to him having the build and may just forego restarting him if there's no way for this to happen - but figured I'd ask the question.
I know I should have done things in the reverse order, hindsight being what it is and all...

Wyrom, is there any chance for you to do an assessment on feasibility of (systematically) allowing folks to retain feature alterations, phrases and such upon reroll (with some limitation I assume)? As more services like these come up I can see the desire for it increasing. My main PC has been around for +20 years and I would sooner put her on a shelf than lose all the features and such during re-roll. Yet when she hits cap I don't see a whole lot of prospects for her. Some folks suggest to just roll another character, but that's not the point. I already have several. It's my main that I want to continue being able to play.

While it seems like something we could automate, the issue will become racial and professional restrictions getting into the wrong hands. I agree that the more we tie to your character, the more "stuck" with a character we'll become. But I rather update the policy on reviewing each case for replacement via ASSIST/REFERRAL than automate to prevent a bunch of gnome-aelotoi running around.
