Hey everyone, you can now use your "PREMIUM" cooldown of the Settlement of Reim to participate in Reim Fortress Defense.

Does this mean that RFD can be entered, by Premium, during the 22 hours while waiting for access to Reim Settlement?
Or that Premium users can choose to do either one, as they prefer, and whichever is chosen will count as using their daily Reim access/starting the 2-hour duration + 22-hour cooldown?

Cooldowns start when the activity starts, not when it ends, so you could have 24/7 in RFD providing you jump into Reim for a second each day to trigger the cooldown. (It seems an odd way to organise it, but thats what the announcement says, and REIM INFO right now just says I have access to Reim, not RFD.)

Most people don't think in terms of "using a cooldown", but rather of "tolerating it [or buying their way through it with SimuCoin access]."

If you phrase it as, "Reim access for Premium accounts can now be used for either the original Reim Settlement or Reim Fortress Defense with the same cooldown as existed previously [2-hour event + 22-hour cooldown, net usable once per 24-hour period]," I think most people will understand more clearly.

Wording it another way;
Premium subscribers are able to enter the Settlement of Reim once a day. A timer starts upon entry that lasts for 22 hours before you can enter it again without paying.
I have expanded that same timers capabilities so that you can use that perk to enter Reim Fortress Defense OR the Settlement of Reim. They use the same timer.

In your first paragraph, I would include something about there being a two-hour event timer for your access itself, and then the cooldown keeps you out for the remaining 22 hours. (This is how "once per day" gets arrived at.)
(Unless it really truly is the case that the 22-hour cooldown starts on ENTRY--meaning that you can enter (as much as) two hours earlier each day, so for the first two hours your access clock & the cooldown are running concurrently. I don't think this is either what you mean, nor how it works, though I'd be delighted to find out I'm wrong about how it works.)
